Buying marijuana at a marijuana dispensary in Las Vegas isn't much different than walking into your local corner drug store and purchasing a package of blunt tobacco. Unfortunately, Nevada voters never gave recreational marijuana a thumbs up in 2021, so dispensaries weren't even approved until recently. However, dispensaries have been legally open in Nevada since voters handed recreational marijuana a thumbs up in November of last year and then from there the floodgate opened and numerous people were heading to Las Vegas just to purchase marijuana. In fact, it was so popular that hotel sales over the marijuana market were through the roof and many tourists were visiting las vegas dispensary just to purchase some. So now that recreational cannabis has been legalized in Nevada, entrepreneurs have taken full advantage and the Las Vegas marijuana industry is growing fast. Las Vegas really needs the money generated by the cannabis industry, so the prices are quite reasonable. Dispensaries are popping up virtually overnight as entrepreneurs realize that they can make a lot of money selling edibles rather than selling the actual cannabis. Just Google "weed dispensary in las Vegas" and you will see what I mean. Las vegas dispensary has become the new "medical marijuana capital of the world" as more people suffer from debilitating symptoms caused by their dependence on prescription pain pills. The recreational weed market, meanwhile, continues to grow. Visitors to Las Vegas who want to partake on some of the fabulous casino gambling attractions are now doing so with legal cannabis as well. Visitors are reporting all sorts of side effects from using medicinal marijuana, such as the inability to feel the urge to gamble. Recreational marijuana is also often more expensive than the stuff sold legally at liquor stores and retailers across the country. And yet, people continue to patronize these outlets for their medicinal needs, as well. If the trend continues, it could be a real boon for the entire state of Nevada, as sales tax revenue is some of the highest in the country. However, recreational cannabis users in Nevada must still follow the state laws, even if it means they have to pay a bit more in taxes or buy their edibles from a different place altogether. Some of the problems that arise include tourists who are visiting and staying out of state, drivers leaving the state with cannabis in their cars and the occasional user who start buying pot just because they're bored or looking for a high. The state government realizes that this is a real problem and has even created a Marijuana Registry to allow people who've been convicted of distributing or trafficking marijuana to re register and avoid fines and penalties. Still, the sale of marijuana in Las Vegas has come to a complete halt, as dealers scramble to close the deals with former customers who were buying their last supply before the law changes. With so many tourists staying out of state, many of these outlets are forced to turn customers down due to lack of business. Meanwhile, new registries have started to be set up, which means that visitors are now registering to purchase cannabis products. Although there's no guarantee you'll be allowed to buy marijuana legally when you get to Vegas, at least you'll know you're in good company with the other tourists. Although it may seem scary to think of the substance on the streets of Las Vegas, just wait until you get high. Forget about the paranoia and fear that having drugs in your system will give you, because it doesn't. Although it's an uncomfortable situation to deal with, Las Vegas still allows people to consume marijuana on a case by case basis. In fact, several establishments have even set up smoking lounges where people can get stoned without ever stepping outside. For any tourists in Nevada, a trip to a recreational cannabis restaurant or bar may be just what you need to calm the stresses and nerves after a long day at work.
